The website www.TXSmartSchools.org rates Texas school districts by academic achievement and annual spending per student.

For the second year, Keller ISD has been awarded the highest score – five stars – for being a "Very Low Spender" and rating "Very High" for academic achievement. Keller ISD is in the bottom 20 percent in per pupil spending and in the top 15 percent academically.
