September 2020 Update
Posted by Keller ISD Bond on 9/17/2020Keller ISD's Safety and Security Department has purchased Access Control System equipment in the amount of $516,505, and cameras and video management equipment in the amount of $3,111,555.
Additionally, the department has also purchased card readers, door position switches, fisheye cameras, intercoms, and camera licenses in the amount of $366,325. All of that equipment will be installed within the renovated secure entry vestibules.
Updated equipment has also been purchased including new security cameras, access controls equipment, radios, and TeleCenter equipment in the amount of $1,774,984.60.

August 2020 Update
Posted by Keller ISD Bond on 8/30/2020Keller ISD's Safety and Security Department has purchased Access Control System equipment in the amount of $516,505 and cameras and video management equipment in the amount of $3,111,555 to be installed within new KISD campus secure entry vestibules.
Phase 1 of the secure entry vestibules project includes renovations at 23 campuses, scheduled to be completed by December 2020. Phase 2 includes all additional campuses and will be completed the summer of 2021.

July 2020 Update
Posted by Keller ISD Bond on 7/20/2020The District is in the process of purchasing the first phase of these upgrades to be installed over the summer of 2020. Among this first phase of items are:
- Replacement video intercom hardware for Keller ISD facilities
- Replacement and additional interior and exterior security cameras, along with the Avigilon Video Management System
- Upgraded radio communication devices
- Upgraded hardware for the District's Raptor Visitor Management System
The cost of these purchases and accompanying installation is budgeted for $2.9 million. A total of $6 million from the Bond has been earmarked for this kind of work. Additional access control equipment is planned for purchase in the coming months.
