  • CALLING ALL FILMMAKERS! THE 2024 KELLER ISD FILM FESTIVAL IS NOW UNDERWAY!

Since 2008, the Keller ISD Film Festival has engaged students' creativity, filled movie theaters to capacity, and showcased thousands of amazing student films. This year, supported by the Keller ISD Education Foundation, the Film Festival is back once again, offering students the opportunity to enter their original films with a chance to be named a finalist, see clips of their films or even win a coveted Film Festival Award at the Gala Ceremony in May at the beautiful Keller Moviehouse and Eatery.

Students are encouraged to use film to express their creativity and enter those creations in 5 special categories; Drama, Comedy, Documentary/PSA, Animation, and Music Video. A panel of judges comprised of Keller ISD administrators as well as industry video professionals will watch all entries, and pick finalists and winners for each category in 3 age groups; Grades K-4, Grades 5-8 and Grades 9-12.

THE ENTRY PERIOD IS NOW CLOSED! Finalists will be announced on April 22 and will be showcased in a gala event on May 13 at the Keller Moviehouse and Eatery, where clips from finalists' movies will be shown, and winners will be announced in each age group. All finalists will receive certificates of merit, and winners in each age group will receive trophies and have their films presented across Keller ISD’s official social media accounts.
