CTI is proud to be an AVID Elementary campus. Our teachers have received training to help implement specific learning strategies, note-taking skills, and organizational tools to help them be successful throughout their academcic careers. Our students are exposed early on to a furture-ready mindset which includes thinking about potential careers and education that is required to pursue them. As part of our AVID initiative we partner with Tarrant County Community College to provide our students with further information regarding types of degrees, paying for college, and how to select an educational program after high school. Futhermore, we have partnered with Community Storehouse to present the Kids 2 College curriculum, which includes a campus visit to a local university for all of our 6th graders.
