KISD Fine Arts Receives TxETA's Award of Distinction

Keller ISD was recently recognized with an Award of Distinction by the Texas Educational Theatre Association (TxETA) for its successful theatre programs.

The inaugural TxETA Awards of Distinction celebrates high achievement in the field of theatre across schools, colleges, and districts who have showcased remarkable talent and dedication and honors them for their outstanding contributions to the Texas Educational Theatre Community.TxETA Award Logo

“This honor could not be possible without our dedicated theatre directors, from Pre-K to high school, who show incredible drive, passion, and dedication to their students every day,” said David Wright, KISD Assistant Fine Arts Director. “Thank you to our directors for everything they do for the students of KISD. Their contributions have not only enriched our schools, but they have also left a lasting impact on theatre advocacy in the community as a whole.”

Keller ISD is one of seven districts across the state to receive this prestigious honor and will be honored at the TxETA annual conference in September.
