KISD Welcomes New Principals for ERES, NRES, PGES, PHIS

Keller ISD is excited to announce four new principals for the 2024-25 school year, as those administrative hires at Eagle Ridge Elementary, North Riverside Elementary, Park Glen Elementary, and Parkwood Hill Intermediate have been approved. 

Headshot of Kristen KissKristen Kiss has been hired to be the next Eagle Ridge Elementary School Principal. Kristen is a familiar face to the ERES community, having previously served as Assistant Principal at the campus for four years. She is currently the Principal at Azle Elementary School in Azle ISD. 

In total, Kristen has more than a decade of experience in public education. She began her educational career in Coppell ISD as a middle school math teacher and then joined Keller ISD as a fourth-grade teacher at Friendship Elementary. She has also served on curriculum writing teams for math at both the elementary and middle school levels.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas Christian University and her Master of Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Headshot of Jonatan RomeroJonatan Romero will be the next Principal at North Riverside Elementary School. 

Jonatan is currently the Dean of Student Services at Carolyn Burkhair Elementary School in Richardson ISD. He began his administrative career as an Assistant Principal in Tyler ISD. He also has experience as a Principal at Dallas ISD’s Marcus Leadership Academy and Van ISD’s J.E. Rhodes Elementary School. Prior to his time in administration, Jonatan spent seven years as a first and fourth-grade Bilingual Teacher in Alief ISD and as a Dyslexia Interventionist in Chappel Hill ISD.

He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and Marketing from Universidad Regiomontana in Monterrey, Mexico, and his Master in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Tyler.

Headshot of Tammy DeLeonTammy DeLeon will take over as the new Principal at Park Glen Elementary School. 

She currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Florence Elementary School, where she has been since 2021. Before that, she spent time as an Intervention Support Teacher and classroom teacher in second and fourth grades at Sunset Valley Elementary and Friendship Elementary.

Prior to joining Keller ISD, Tammy was an elementary and middle school teacher in Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD for four years and in Irving ISD for two years.

Tammy earned her Bachelor of Business Administration-Management from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Education-Administration from Lamar University.

Headshot of Pascal LicciardiPascal Licciardi has been selected as the next Parkwood Hill Intermediate School Principal, joining KISD after serving as the Principal for Castleberry ISD’s REACH High School.

He began his administrative career in the New York City Department of Education where he served as a District Instructional Specialist, Director of Teacher Development in the Arts, and an Assistant Principal. Pascal initially began his educational career as a Band Director and Foreign Language Arts Teacher in the New York Department of Education’s Brooklyn Studio Secondary School.

Pascal earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music and Italian Literature from Brooklyn College and holds a Master of Arts in Music Education from Hofstra University along with a Master of Arts in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)/ESL from Adelphi University.

All four new principals will begin this summer ahead of the 2024-25 school year. Please join us in congratulating them on these new roles.
