Keller ISD Students Win First Place at State Clay Target Championship

The Keller Clay Target Team, an amateur youth sports team of students from Keller ISD, won first place in the Overall Sporting Clays Team and Sporting Clays categories at the Texas State Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) Championship on June 9-12 in San Antonio.  

The Keller Clay Target Team, established in 2017, is a co-ed team-based youth development program that uses the shotgun sports of trap, skeet, and sporting clays to instill life skills such as discipline, safety, teamwork, ethics, self-confidence, and other life values. Team members can participate in any or all three clay target disciplines – Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays.

1st Place - Sporting Clays, Reid Baldwin

Runner-Up - Highest Overall High School Team 
2nd Place - Trap Double, Will Altom
3rd Pace - Skeet Doubles, Dawson Myers
3rd Place - Highest Overall Team 
3rd Place - Highest Overall Skeet Team 
3rd Place - Highest Overall Squad in Sporting Clays, Will Altom, Justin Jones, and Ethan Fuller
