The Independence Elementary Art Club includes a group of 4th-grade students who apply by writing an essay about why they should be selected for the club and how they can contribute artistically to the school. Passion for art, conduct, and grades are also considered when selecting students. 

Art Club meets once a week on Tuesday from 3:15 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. to participate in higher level art processes by using advanced materials. Member artwork is displayed along with other work created during art classes throughout the school.
