Angel Magruder, Principal
Angel Magruder has served as the Principal at North Riverside Elementary School since February 2023. 

Prior to being named Principal, she served in several administrative roles in Keller ISD over a seven year period, including Assistant Administrator at Parkview Elementary, Assistant Principal at Chisholm Trail Intermediate School, and Assistant Principal at North Riverside Elementary School. Prior to her administrative experience, Ms. Magruder was an elementary school math specialist for eight years.

Ms. Magruder earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Texas Wesleyan University and a Masters in Educational Administration at Texas Woman’s University.

Abbie Norkett, Administrative Associate
My name is Abbie Norkett and I am so proud to be part of the North Riverside Elementary family! This upcoming year will be my 7th year in education and 7th year in Keller. In previous roles, I have taught 7th and 8th grade ELA, as well as coached cheer at both TSMS and VRMS. I grew up in the area and graduated from a neighboring district. After graduation from the University of Arizona, I moved back to the area to begin teaching. My husband and I have one daughter. 

I am passionate about helping all students achieve their highest potential and partnering with our families and community to support our students. I look forward to the year ahead at NRES!
