Every KISD elementary campus holds auditions and a maximum of seven fourth-grade students from each campus to comprise the All-District Honor Choir. 

The seven students from each campus attend weekly rehearsals with their own music teacher in the time leading up to the field trip and concert.  The seven members attend an all-day clinic and workshop with a guest clinician and conductor. During the workshop, students will be chaperoned by their music teacher.  Students will learn vocal and performance techniques while rehearsing several pieces of music. The day culminates in a free concert that evening at 7:00 p.m. for parents, family, friends, and community members.
