Let's work together and make your child's testing experience a positive and successful one! We will help to prepare them at school by focusing on perseverance, doing their personal best, and never giving up! It's important for students (and parents) to know that while testing is important and we do take it seriously, it is only one means of showing what students know. This test alone won't be able to show all of the ways your child has grown and all that they have accomplished. We understand that there is often some anxiety surrounding these tests. 3rd and 4th Grade students will be taking the State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR) Reading test on April 16th, and (STAAR) Math test on April 30th.

2nd, 3rd, and 4th Grade students who have been identified as English learners (ELs) will take the Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS) Listening/Speaking test, and (TELPAS) Reading test.

Parents can access STAAR scores using the state platform , or the Keller ISD Aeries Parent Portal .
