• On Tuesday, October 24, 2023, our campus will administer the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT) to all 10th and 11th grade students (paid for by the District).

The PSAT is a standardized test that provides first-hand practice for the SAT®. The PSAT/NMSQT has three parts: Reading, Math, and Writing & Language. The most common reasons students take the PSAT/NMSQT are to: help assess skills necessary for college-level work, prepare for the SAT, and enter competitions for National Scholarships (junior year), and receive information from colleges. KISD will continue to pay for the 10th and 11th grade students to participate in this assessment.

Parents of freshmen may choose to have their child participate in the administration of the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT) for a fee of $18. Information on activities for students not testing this day will be shared at a later date. To register your student(s) for the PSAT, all you have to do is pay for the test. Please note that all payments must be made by September 15th at 4:00 pm to be able to take the PSAT.

Payment will be accepted in the following ways:
Online- you may pay online at the campus webstore by credit card. There will be a 3% service fee for online payments. Webstore link: www.kellerisd.net/store (username is student ID#, password is last name with first letter capitalized ex: Smith).

Cash or check- Cash or check will be accepted in the front office between 8:00-8:30 am every morning of the registration period. Must be exact change or a check made out to Central High School.
