Dyslexia

For students with characteristics of dyslexia, we work on reading, spelling and writing using the MTA program. It is a multi-sensory program that is structured, sequential, and cumulative in the area of phonemic awareness, phonics, and language structure that encompasses morphology, semantics, syntax, and pragmatics. I like to call our class a Language Science class because we are learning the history and how the English language works.
