Mrs. Surface loves teaching children to love music!

She is in her 14th year teaching elementary music. Mrs. Surface has taught in Keller ISD at Ridgeview since its opening in 2011 when she moved from the Early Learning Center. She has also taught in Birdville ISD and Waxahachie ISD. Mrs. Surface earned a Bachelor of Music Education with oboe emphasis from Baylor University and is currently pursuing a Master of Music Education from Texas Tech University.

Mrs. Surface lives in Keller with her two daughters, 12 year old Kennedy (a vocalist and French horn player) and 9 year old Mckinley (a pianist), and her husband, also a music educator. She loves spending time with her family, baking, singing karaoke and attending concerts.
