This announcement is to inform you that KCA will no longer offer 8th grade as an option beginning in the fall of 2024. Recruitment efforts this fall will focus on current 8th-grade students interested in attending KCA for high school. Beginning in the fall of 2024, KCA will be a 9-12 campus.   

Rationale: When KCA began recruiting students in 2020, English I and Biology were not universally offered to students in middle school. Today, all 7 middle schools provide the opportunity for students to take Algebra I, English I, Biology, and Spanish I in the 8th grade.  We still encourage students planning on applying to KCA to take these courses when academically appropriate, but we also have associate degree plans for those students who did not accelerate in middle school.
