SOAR INTO ART!
Welcome to Basswood Elementary School! My name is Michelle Fuller and I am Basswood’s art teacher. I graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in art education and a minor in Spanish. Art is offered to all students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade once a week. They will learn about the elements and principles of art, art history, different artists and most importantly, how to create art. My students will have the opportunity to creatively express themselves and work with different mediums, such as paint, colored pencils, markers, clay and oil pastels.
I look forward to teaching art this year and getting to know your children. I believe learning about art is crucial to our childrens’ education. I plan to accomplish this objective by introducing my students to projects that are both fun and educational!
